Proposal to Develop a Commitment Pooling Playbook for Regen Coordination Network

Introduction

As local ReFi DAO nodes and Greenpill chapters continue to grow and coordinate worldwide under the Regen Coordination Network, there is a pressing need for structured, educational resources that strengthen community finance and improve member onboarding.

This proposal outlines the development of a Commitment Pooling playbook, a comprehensive, chapter-based resource that builds on the proven Grassroots Economics model of collective reciprocal community commitments and shared stewardship of value. The playbook format will ensure that Regen Coordination Network members can learn, implement, and adapt the model to their specific contexts while also exploring its broader social, cultural, and visionary aspects.

Objective

The primary objective of this playbook is to provide Regen Coordination Network member organizations with both theoretical and practical guidance on Commitment Pooling. It will serve as a reference manual, teaching tool, and practical guide for implementing and scaling commitment pooling in diverse geographies.

Other objectives include:

  1. Linking community finance directly to regenerative projects, strengthening the connection between ReFi values and on-the-ground impact.

  2. Designing onboarding and engagement systems for communities where new members receive immediate value for participating.

  3. Facilitating Total Value Flow (TVF) across local web3 networks by embedding Grassroots Economics tools into daily operations.

North Stars:

  • Deliver a replicable framework adaptable to diverse geographies, enabling local commitment pools to scale into global networks of resilience and solidarity, directly linking community finance to measurable regenerative outcomes.

  • Transform community leaders and administrators into competent “Grassroots Economists” by providing them an intro to the protocols that allow transparent and adaptive resource stewardship.

  • Empower local communities to reclaim economic autonomy and build social cohesion, ensuring participants receive immediate value for engagement and shared stewardship.
