Join for a 2 hour workshop to plan out the next.version of the Greenpill Network Website. With Charmverse shutting down we will need a space to store Greenpill knowledge and revamping the website to serve as both a workspace and onboarding funnel is a great space to do so. This will be a fun workshop where we ideate and just talk and share how best to revamp the website. The goal is to take the transcript and visuals created from the workshop and craft a spec/plan for an AI coding agent to implement.
If you want to jam, share how onboarding would have been ideal for you, what you need for you community, etc. this is the workshop to attend.
One word I miss in the outcomes is recruitment. Onboarding may overlap but onboarding only happens when people are, yeah, onboard. Recruitment coaxes them to get onboard.
Towards that end we should consider how a new member funnel works. Presumably the funnel lands them in Chapters, which are region based, so showcasing the active Chapters and their impact would help inspire participation.
Gm all, unfortunately I’m not joining the workshop, but I have gathered some ideas when I first heard of the website revamp idea and added few other things along the way that are more relevant now.
So first of all, I will share the list of all what I think should appear on the website at some point of time, then will give my ideas on what tasks should be priorities for what we will call something like Sprint 1.
Hero & Messaging
Rewrite headline to remove crypto slang and make it understandable to outsiders
Add one-sentence mission statement (“What is Greenpill?” in ~15 words)
Add a single primary CTA button (“Join a chapter” or “Start here”)
Hey everyone, I wasn’t able to join the yesterday’s discussion but I agree with lumina on the emphasis on simplifying the hero messaging and adding a clear “Start here” CTA—this will make the platform much more approachable for newcomers. The idea of a guided onboarding flow and a short quiz is especially strong, as it reduces friction and helps users quickly find their path. I also support prioritizing the interactive chapter map and live activity stats, since they make the ecosystem feel active and credible.
From my side, I’d suggest adding a quick “What can you do here in 30 seconds” section on the homepage to immediately orient users. Also, we could consider lightweight personalization (e.g., remembering user type after the quiz) to tailor content. Also ensure that fast mobile performance should be a top priority given the mobile-first nature of the product.
Yeah this What do I do here in 30 seconds is pretty much what I mean by “where do I start”.
I guess these two deliver sort of same information and can be combined
Next steps are over the weekend I will synthesize the discussion with AI and generate a roadmap for phases of development and outline the 1st phase in detail with some quick questions and polls for Stewards to answer.
Once again thanks all who joined and shared thoughts async on this thread this next evolution of the website is going to be awesome!
Thank you for the session, Afo!
It feels like new energy to me that can help Greenpill chapters reignite and give us a greater sense of belonging to something bigger.
We don’t have to be a network state to push forward a broader vision alongside like-minded and likable folks from around the globe!
