Hello ReFi community,
We are launching ReFi DAO Ukraine as a Local Node grounded in an existing network of ecovillages and regenerative communities across Ukraine.
For the past 1.5 years, we have been actively integrating Web3 tools into real, place-based regenerative work. Our approach is not theoretical — it is built on applied pilots across multiple locations within our network.
What we are already implementing
Soil regeneration after shelling
In partnership with Ma Earth, we are restoring damaged soils in frontline and post-shelling areas. This includes regenerative techniques, local stewardship, and community involvement.
Forest planting & ecological monitoring
With GainForest, we are piloting reforestation initiatives, combined with monitoring and verification. Certification processes are being explored in collaboration with EcoCert.
Mutual credit & community vouchers
Together with Sarafu Network (Grassroots Economics), we are experimenting with vouchers and community pools (Toloka Pools) to strengthen local circular economies and reciprocal value exchange.
Solar tokenization
With Arkreen, we are exploring tokenization of solar energy generation across ecovillage-based climate hubs.
Biodiversity credits
With Regen Network, we are studying and adapting biodiversity credit methodologies suitable for Ukrainian landscapes and community stewardship models.
Knowledge Localization
We are translating and adapting core Web3/ReFi materials into Ukrainian to build local capacity:

This event will serve as the formal public launch of ReFi DAO Ukraine and the starting point for onboarding contributors, developers, and researchers.
Vision for ReFi DAO Ukraine
ReFi DAO Ukraine aims to become:

A coordination layer for regenerative projects across Ukrainian bioregions

A testing ground for climate finance, biodiversity credits, and mutual credit systems

A bridge between global ReFi infrastructure and local land-based communities

A platform for transparent reporting and collaborative funding
We are not starting from zero. We are formalizing and connecting ongoing regenerative work into the ReFi DAO network structure.
