Regen Commons Facilitation RFP
Co-Designing the Constitution for a Decentralized Brand Commons
Overview
Regen Commons is initiating a facilitation-led process to co-create its governance, legal, and economic architecture. This RFP invites qualified facilitators or facilitator collectives to manage a participatory process that culminates in a foundational constitution or organizing document.
This is a pivotal moment to build legitimacy within the regenerative Web3 ecosystem by aligning legal structures, governance mechanisms, and memetic power around the Regen identity.
Goals
The selected facilitator(s) will manage a structured, inclusive process to define and document:
- Legal Framework
- Structure and purpose of the Commons (e.g., Purpose Trust, DUNA)
- Governance Mechanism
- Decision-making rules, onboarding, voting models
- Token Strategy
- Use, issuance, rights, and responsibilities
- Membership Model
- How new members are added and recognized
- Contribution Valuation
- How to assess and reward new contributions (e.g. IP, labor, capital)
- Exit Mechanism
- Offboarding protocols and exit options
- Business Plan & Relationship to SporkDAO
- Funding roadmap, governance alignment, and SporkDAO participation
Target Audience
The resulting process and documents should resonate with and gain legitimacy from the Web3 regenerative community, including:
- ReFi founders & contributors
- DAO governance experts
- Decentralized identity and public goods advocates
- Projects using the “Regen” brand/meme
Deliverables
- Facilitation of a multi-phase engagement (e.g. workshops, async input, synthesis)
- Final draft of a Regen Commons Constitution / Core Document
- A public-facing summary for community ratification
- Implementation roadmap & recommendations
Evaluation Criteria
- Track record in Web3 governance, legal design, and facilitation
- Familiarity with regenerative economics and ReFi principles
- Experience distilling group complexity into actionable frameworks
- Ability to manage time-sensitive, high-integrity processes
- Alignment with Regen Commons values
Budget & Timeline
- Budget: $20,000
- Timeline: May–June 2025 (Deliverables complete)
- Funding: Seed funding from SporkDAO, with follow on and complimentary funding from Regen Network, and other Regen Commons members possible.
