:cyclone: Why This Matters

Regen Commons is not just a DAO. It is a memetic, legal, and cultural coordination layer for the regenerative Web3 movement.

Help us build a legitimate, plural, and anchored foundation—and co-create a new model for governing decentralized cultural assets with integrity.

Hello beloved community,

We want to share a quick update in response to the ongoing conversation around the facilitation of the Regen Commons. The core Regens Unite team fully supports the proposal submitted by Greaterthan to take on this task.

We care deeply about this initiative. While the vision for a Regen Commons has been around for some time, it now feels like the right moment to move it forward more intentionally. That said, our team is currently stretched thin. Some of us are navigating personal challenges, or tied up in active projects that have us stretched thin.

Rather than let things stall, we’ve reached out to trusted collaborators. Greaterthan feels like the right fit. They’ve worked with us before and bring strong experience in facilitation, governance, legal design, and organizational development.

We’re especially excited about their use of Liberating Structures, simple but powerful tools that make participation easier and more meaningful. These methods help groups move from fragmentation to clarity and collaboration.

Greaterthan would take the lead, with our support in providing context, community insight, and additional facilitation. We’re aiming for an approach that’s clear, inclusive, and grounded in shared values.

We’re excited to see where this next phase takes us. With that, here are the contents of the GT proposal for full transparency:
