Summary
GrowFi is a regenerative finance platform that enables crowdfunding campaigns for real-world regenerative assets using a two-token, fully on-chain model. We are seeking 1,000 USDGLO from the ReFi DAO Network Initiatives Pool to fund onboarding and training sessions for network members engaged in agricultural production and potential funders within the ReFi DAO network to be launch partners ahead of our Q3 2026 mainnet launch.
This initiative will directly expand ReFi DAO’s impact by connecting its network of local nodes and community members to a live, production-ready regenerative finance tool — turning abstract ReFi principles into tangible, seasonal yield for real regenerative farmers and startups.
About GrowFi
GrowFi (github repo) is being built by members of Rifai Sicilia, a ReFi DAO local node based in Sicily, Italy as a spinoff startup “GrowFi Labs”. The platform allows regenerative startups and agricultural producers to tokenize physical assets — starting with olive trees — into 1,000 fractional $CAMPAIGN tokens per tree. Investors stake these tokens to earn seasonal $YIELD, which can be burned to claim either the physical product (e.g. olive oil) or USDC. Key design properties that align with ReFi DAO’s values:
- Tree health verified via Silvi.earth dMRV reports — on-chain environmental accountability
- Fully on-chain + subgraph architecture — no backend, no intermediaries
- Deployable on any EVM-compatible L2 — accessible micro-investment
- USDC Revenue flows directly to producers (30%) and token holders (67%), with a minimal 3% protocol fee that includes 1% that goes to the $GROW community treasury

dMRV integrations & lender confidence
GrowFi is actively developing modular integrations with dMRV (digital Measurement, Reporting & Verification) providers, starting with Silvi.earth. These integrations will allow on-chain verification of tree health and asset productivity, giving lenders and investors independent, third-party confirmation that the underlying agricultural assets are performing as expected. By embedding dMRV data directly into the campaign lifecycle, GrowFi removes the need for trust in any single party — replacing it with transparent, verifiable proof of regenerative impact.
This approach directly advances ReFi DAO’s mission of building credible, accountable infrastructure for the regenerative economy, and sets a precedent for how real-world asset campaigns should be structured across the ecosystem.
The Initiative
What we will do
On the lead up and after our Q3 2026 mainnet launch, we will host a series of onboarding and training sessions specifically designed for agricultural producers and funders within the ReFi DAO network. These sessions will:
- Explain how to create and manage a GrowFi campaign from end to end
- Walk producers through campaign setup, and token mechanics
- Walk funders through how to stake, earn, and claim harvest yields
- Be delivered in accessible formats (live calls, written guides, and recorded video) in English
- Be made available as open resources to ReFi DAO local nodes globally

- Tooling: Adds a production-ready regenerative finance instrument to the ReFi DAO ecosystem

- Impact: Creates measurable, on-chain flows of value from investors to regenerative agricultural producers

- Financial: Participating ReFi DAO projects can opt in to share a portion of the protocol fee paid in $GROW tokens back to the ReFi DAO treasury. e.g. if 100K worth of liquidity is lent through the protocol, 1% can be returned in the form of $GROW tokens backed by USDC equally 1K USDC returning the original investment

Alignment with ReFi DAO Community Covenant
GrowFi is rooted in regenerative principles: it moves capital toward ecological stewardship, creates transparent value flows between investors and producers, and uses open-source, decentralized infrastructure. RiFi Sicilia, as a ReFi DAO local node, is already embedded in the network and committed to its shared values. This initiative strengthens the DAO’s community and tooling while seeding a new model for agricultural ReFi that any local node worldwide can adopt.
Milestones
- Q2 2026: First onboarding session hosted for ReFi DAO network producers and funders in June
- Q3 2026: GrowFi mainnet launch Mid-August
- Q3 2026: Written onboarding guide published (EN + IT) and shared across ReFi DAO channels
- Q4 2026: Sessions 2 and 3 delivered; video recordings published as open resources
- Q4 2026: At least three active GrowFi campaigns live, created by ReFi DAO network members

Regen Avocado is co-founder of GrowFi and founder of RiFai Sicilia, a ReFi DAO local node. We bring direct experience in regenerative finance community-building, local node coordination, and on-chain tool development.
